Why you’ll love it
A kinetic Cacheuta day—trail effort, then thermal recovery in one arc.
Big-sky Andes vistas and Potrerillos-scale depth without a multi-day expedition.
Guided trekking at a serious-but-accessible effort level (fitness required).
Hot springs as structured downtime—recovery built into the narrative.
Lunch included; photo package and accident insurance for peace of mind.
Limited availability: small groups, high demand—plan ahead.
The experience
Cacheuta sits where the city’s heat thins and the cordillera begins to assert itself—rock, scrub, and sudden depth of view. This itinerary is built for travellers who want more than a lookout stop: a deliberate trek with real gradient, air you can taste, and sightlines that stretch toward Potrerillos and the high Andes.
The route covers roughly five kilometres in total—enough to feel like a workout, paced by guides who read the group and the mountain weather. You’ll move through moderate-to-challenging terrain (not technical mountaineering, but not a flat stroll either). The reward isn’t only the summit-feeling moments; it’s the contrast that follows.
After the trail, thermal pools welcome you back into your body—warm water, slower breath, the day’s effort translated into calm. Lunch is included on the programme, professional photos help you relive the drama without living behind a lens, and accident insurance is part of the package so you can focus on the steps ahead.
Capacity stays intentionally small. We’re opening bookings in controlled waves—if dates aren’t live yet, add your name early: the first departures tend to fill quickly once released.
